Sierra Vista Auto Repair

My Subaru Forester locked the shift gear in park after my brake light switch malfunctioned. I was able to get my vehicle out of park and down to Sierra Service Center, where I dealt with Ernie, who provided exemplary service. He was transparent about the process of performing a diagnostic check of the vehicle and the cost associated with this check. When his crew was unable to find the specific problem with my vehicle, he recommended driving it to the Subaru Dealership in Tucson, and much to my pleasant surprise, he did not charge me for the diagnostic check because he was unable to find the problem due to the Subaru electronics system. I will 100% go to Ernie and the Sierra Service Center for oil changes and any future issues that may arise with my vehicle.

Absolutely great service! Me and my family for years bring cars that we are unsure about getting, and they were always honest on either we should buy it or not. Very friendly staff and mechanic, definitely recommend them over the others!

Very good service, but an oil change was performed at the 2200 mile mark. A big trip is planned, but the oil change was probably not necessary until return.

They did an excellent job changing my oil, etc. and checking for other problems. They did suggest that I change the wiper blades with the monsoon season approaching. That was done immediately, since I am leaving on a trip to Flagstaff next week.

Not only is the work done well--professional, courteous, thorough--the staff are outstanding. The facility is a delight to come to. It is clean and comfortable, much like being in your own living room. Jimmy, Jean, and Ernie answer your questions readily and ensure that you understand the procedures and costs. Traveling through and brought my 06 Tahoe in for coolant leak and broken instrument cluster lens. Had exceptional reception and the issues were addressed in a professional and efficient manner. Upon inspection Jim and his high quality staff recommended a brake fluid flush. All work was done and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing auto repairs. You don't see this kind of great and friendly service very often in this day and age!!! Thank you Jim for taking care of a stranger in your very nice town. My wife and I drove out to S.V. to visit family for a long weekend mid last month in our 1989 Volvo wagon. Mechanical fuel problem arose. Needed to be urgently addressed. Tucson miles and miles away. I was not optimistic we could find a service center with the skill set and parts to resolve the problem in Sierra Vista. We looked online and found a possible candidate down the road. [But wasn't meant to be] Co incidentally [with a Capital 'C'here], I pulled into S.S.C. to make an inquiry. Within 5 minutes of driving off, I turned around and opted, thankfully, to choose S.S.C. to address our car problem. After the courteous and professional service ---with clear and transparent explanation for the work to be done including a very fair estimate---we were back on the road, to finish enjoying our sojourn in Sierra Vista and drive the 500 + miles across desert and mtn. landscape back home. I highly recommend Sierra Service Center to all. Jimmy and Bob, and their stellar service will not be forgotten. We now have a go-to place in S.V. in the event we might have any further car issues during future visits.

I like this place. The guys give my truck a good inspection before going over the issues with me in detail. (It is an old rig, there are always issues.) Then we have a nice talk about prioritizing repairs, worst case scenarios on things I am thinking of putting off, and more importantly, the most likely scenario. They both don't let me spend money foolishly nor let me drive away in an unsafe vehicle. Honest tradesmen are the glue that holds our world together, and these men are the best of the lot. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic place that will never steer you wrong! Always fast, efficient, professional and courteous. Would send anyone for the smallest to largest job there. They will beat anyone in town both in price and quality.

I got my car towed here because it would not start. They were both very friendly and professional. They had fair prices and I did not feel like they were trying to upsell me. I will most certainly be taking my car here for any future issues.
