3hours and 200$ for an oil change. They even damaged my oil plug and attempted to charge me 45$ for a new one. When I went behind their desk and pointed at their own website showing it costing 4$, they were furious. These are sad people.

I give this place less than one star. I had my a/c recharged less than 9 months ago, then my a/c compressor went out which they should have seen was going to happen when recharging it the first time. I took it in again to get it recharged after replacing the a/c compressor, which they dropped me and my infant off at the park since they didn’t want us waiting at the building and our house was too far for them to drop us off at. They said it would take no more than 2 hours just like last time. Well 4 hours rolls around of us waiting for a phone call to go pick it up and never got it so I called and he said that they were on lunch and would get to my car when they got back. So another hour goes by and I call again to check on the progress and he tells me “I meant to tell you you need another part it’s no good” so i ask what it was since everything was brand new and he tells me that it would be an additional 200$ for a tiny plug. That costs no more than 50$ in all the parts stores. So I declined paying that. And they still charged me 140$ and didn’t even put no freon in my car. 280$ and my daughter has to ride around in no air conditioning cuz these people price gouge single woman.

I’ve never left a poor review because I believe in supporting local businesses. However, I would not recommend Sierra Service Center for auto repair.

First off, you had no service work done here; you paid zero dollars. As a company policy, we do not work with vehicles with breathalyzers installed and therefore declined to proceed with your request for an alignment. You did however receive a full complementary digital vehicle inspection for which you paid nothing. This stand alone service would be $69.95 had you just came in and requested a full Digital Vehicle Inspection. We understand why you would not recommend our services to other customers with breathalyzers installed but are not certain, based on the lack of work performed on your vehicle, why you would refrain from recommending our service to to others.

I was towing a trailer and having problems and I was 1500 miles from home. I went into their shop thinking I needed a new transmission. They ran some tests and determined I needed a new cooling system for the transmission which was a less expensive repair. They even drove to Tucson to get a part faster than normal. Then, they stayed late to complete the repair and get me back on the road as fast as possible. I was able to get to my next reservation and meet up with my friends and continue my month long road trip. THANK YOU!

SIERRA SERVIS CENTER CHARGED ME $274 to replace one fuse! Ask them about it .My name is Dana Craig. I brought in my 2,000 ford ranger as I was unable to fix my break lights myself. I had checked the fuses but I failed to identify that a fuse had fallen out. Such a simple fix. So Sierra auto service took care of the problem. Then charged me $274 for them to replace one fuse and one bulb! No kidding these geniuses charged me $250 in labor in order to install one fuse. I had already replaced the bulbs before I brought it in. And told them so. Here is the kicker: they blamed me! I told them I checked the fuses , so they didn’t check the fuses until they replaced the wiring . It’s my fault for fooling these “professional mechanics “ by saying I checked the fuses. I am not a mechanic yet they used my testimony to screw up the most simple fix. And made me pay for their mistake. Please let Sierra auto service know how you feel about this. I want my $$ back. Thank you No stars at all

I went in to get an oil change on my diesel car and they told me AFTER it was racked it would be almost $450. I’ve never paid more than $110 WITH TAX for an oil change. Go ANYWHERE else but here. I told them I wasn’t paying that and they acted shocked that someone could do it for $110. I offered to show them ALL my receipts from my dealership for oil changes & they declined (I’m assuming they didn’t want to look at the evidence for plausible deniability). Pretty pathetic that a “military proud” company takes advantage of people especially with MILITARY SERVICE. Save your money & your dignity & don’t bother with this waste of space.

There must be some confusion as our oil change price out the door for your Volkswagen needing full synthetic diesel engine oil is $129.00 (this is a current price given the rapidly escalating prices of oil products). This full service oil change includes a complementary Bolt on Technology digital vehicle inspection. The price you were quoted included replacement of original equipment oil, air, and cabin filters. The quote also included our oil cleaner and flush service to remove accumulated dirt and sludge deposits in the engine crank case. These recommendations were made following the detailed inspection of your vehicle while it was on the rack. You declined the recommendations which were generated as a result of the detailed inspection performed on your vehicle and left without having your vehicle serviced. Your comments, although accurate, failed to include the additional recommended services. We wish to confirm, you had NO services done at our facility and the amount you quoted was taken out of context for a complete service to bring your vehicle to very good operational conditions. As a final comment, I am proud to have served my country in a combat arms leadership position and treat all my fellow veterans with full respect and gratitude for their service as well. We categorically contest your last two sentences as inappropriate.

I have used them for both of my vehicles for 3 years now. They are very professional and go over everything they see with you quite clearly. The latest visit was because another shop had broke a bolt while replacing tires and wouldn't fix it themselves. SSC was able to get me in and out the same day, even though it meant staying late on their part.

This place is absolutely amazing. We have used them several times and always had great service. I can't even say enough about how great they are after today. Another place broke the bolt for my lungnut when putting on new tires and then refused to fix it or pay to fix it. Sierra service center not only got us in for it to be fixed today but also stayed 2 hours after they closed to make sure it was done today so we could hit the road for the holiday traveling we needed to do. I have always had friendly service there but they went above and beyond today. They also took my husbands back to work since it was going to take some time.

Love Ernie and his team, been using Sierra Service for about 7 years. This time it was my new Mini cooper that the clutch went out on about an hour and a half of driving home from Carmax. We had it towed to Sierra Sierra filling out the form and leaving the keys in the drop box. Come to find out they are registered with Carmax to do the warranty repairs for them. Ernie even did an Ozone Treatment that helped get rid of the bad smells in my car. I can't say enough on how awesome our service was and always is when we use Sierra Service Center. Thank you all of you!
